Tucked inside the quiet South Shore Park campground, The Hideaway is a 221 sq ft ÖÖD mirror house perfect for couples, solo travelers, or small families wanting a private, nature-wrapped escape. Its mirrored exterior blends into the trees, giving you privacy and stunning reflections from every angle — the signature magic of ÖÖD glamping near Austin.

We imported these wood-fired tubs from Estonia — you’ll be one of the first to use them. They’re built for a natural, peaceful, wellness-inspired soak: no jets, no chemicals, no buttons. Just fresh water, fire, and nature. We drain, clean, and refill the tub after every guest. 🌿🛁
Texas stays warm most of the year, so many guests use it as a refreshing plunge pool. If you want it heated, just build a small fire in the heating chamber using the wood and fire starter in the gray bin. 🔥❄️
Note: Preheating the tub isn’t possible due to flexible arrival times.

About the Cabin
This mirror cabin sits inside the campground at South Shore Park. Your space is private and tucked into the woods, but other park guests will be staying throughout the campground. Peaceful, elevated glamping near Austin — not total isolation. 🌲✨
🔥 Burn Ban Policy
Due to the dry Texas climate, burn bans may be issued by the county or fire chief at any time.
When a burn ban is active:
• Wood fires are not allowed (including the wood-fired hot tub heater)
• Propane fire pits ARE allowed
• Charcoal grills ARE allowed
We will notify you if a burn ban is in effect. These rules are enforced for guest safety and park compliance. 🔥🚫🌵
If a burn ban is active during your stay, guests can still enjoy:
• The propane fire pit at your cabin
• Cooking on the charcoal grill
• The plunge pool (cold, refreshing, and still amazing!) ❄️✨

- Do birds fly into the mirrors?
No — the exterior has a special UV film birds can see but humans can’t. 🐦✨ - Can people see inside at night?
With lights on at night, visibility increases, but you have full curtains and natural privacy from the woods. 🌙🪟

Booking Deposit
• 50% non-refundable deposit required to secure your stay
• Remaining balance charged 14 days before check-in
Cancellations
• Cancel within 24 hours: 90% refund of deposit (10% processing)
• Cancel up to 30 days before arrival: 90% refund of deposit (10% processing)
• Cancel within 30 days: no refund
• Weather issues: non-refundable unless the county issues an emergency order
Security Hold
• $250 hold placed 1 day before check-in
• Released after checkout if no major damage
• Banks may take 3–4 business days to clear the hold
