Welcome to The Bloom, our second ÖÖD Mirror House retreat at Lake Bastrop South Shore Park. Thoughtfully designed with a soft, flower-inspired theme, The Bloom was created to help you reconnect, recharge, and slow down in nature’s calm beauty.

Tucked into the peaceful South Shore Park on Lake Bastrop, this 221 sq ft mirrored cabin blends seamlessly into the forest, offering both serenity and privacy. The mirrored exterior reflects the surrounding trees, sky, and sunlight, giving you the feeling of being part of the landscape — a perfect setting for couples, solo travelers, or small families seeking peace and inspiration.

Firewood can be purchased at the park’s camp store daily from 8 AM–5 PM, or you’re welcome to bring your own seasoned wood.
💧 The Nordic Tub Experience
Straight from Estonia, our handcrafted wood-fired tubs offer a natural, chemical-free soak inspired by Nordic spa traditions. Each tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled with fresh water before your stay.
• In warm weather, enjoy it as a refreshing plunge pool.
• For a warm soak, build a small fire in the heating chamber using the provided firewood and starter.
• The tub cannot be preheated before check-in due to variable arrival times.
This experience is about slowing down — a return to simple, elemental relaxation. 🌿✨
🐾 Pet-Friendly
Yes! We welcome up to two pets — $49 per pet per stay.
Please keep pets off the bedding and clean up after them.
🔥 Burn Ban Notice
During periods of dry weather, county or park burn bans may be in effect.
If a burn ban is active:
• Open flames and wood-burning fire pits are prohibited by law.
• Propane grills and the Nordic tub (with limited fire use) remain available.
• No refunds are issued for burn-ban restrictions, but you’ll still enjoy countless ways to relax and explore the park.
🦋 Nature & Wildlife Setting
The Bloom is located in a true natural environment — surrounded by trees, wildlife, and the peaceful sounds of nature. Guests may encounter insects, birds, deer, or other small animals as part of the outdoor experience. 🐿️
We maintain the property with care, but no refunds are provided for wildlife or natural occurrences — it’s all part of glamping!

• 50% non-refundable deposit required to secure reservation
• Remaining 50% charged 14 days before arrival
• Cancel within 24 hours of booking → 90% refund (10% processing)
• Cancel ≥30 days before check-in → 90% refund (10% processing)
• Cancel <30 days → no refund
• Weather-related refunds only if a county emergency order is issued
💰 Security Hold & Verification
• $250 authorization hold (1 day before check-in; released after checkout)
• Secure ID verification via Lodgify (same system used by hotels)
